Strong, Smart, and Bold Girls Summer Camp
Just for Girls ages 4-13
Week One: Movie Mania June 20-24
Come and learn how to put a slide show, video and other graphic features
together at camp. Activities will include going to the movies, making
props, acting out scense and all kinds of other movie adventures. At
the end of the week campers will share their homemade technology productions
in a show.
Week Two: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun June 27- July 1
Kick back and relax! With Girls Just Wanna Have Fun week with pajama day,
crazy hair day, as well as focus on music. Girls will work on fun unit
themes arund music and may even go see a musical. At the end of the week
campers will share their talents as a unit with a special talent show.
Week Three: Once Upon A Time July 5-8
Enter the enchanted camp where books and reading come to life, girls will
transform their units into their favorite stories, dress up as their
favorite characters and even make their own book. Girls will have fun
learning about literacy through hands-on activities and field trips that
explore stories. At the end of the week campers will perform their favorite
stories in a special production.
Week Four: Travel Near & Far July 11-15
Explore the world with a journey of travel, learn about different cultures
by preparing foods of afar, and learn about CT. Each Unit will transform
into an array of travel destinations, go on fun treasure hunts, as well
as visit some nearby attractions in CT. At the end of the week each unit
will share their destinations with a very special show.
Week Five: Designing Divas July 18-22
Come and transform Girls Inc. into a gallery full of design, texture, and
color. Spend the week discovering art and its history. Each unit will
display their designs throughout the building, as well as visit some
places that specialize in fun hands on art and design teachniques. At
the end of the week their will be a gallery showcasing all the beautiful
creations made.
Week Six: Move In Style July 25-29
Move those muscles in style for a week full of fitness and sport intruction.
Play games, learn some aerobics, yoga, dance and gymnastics, play sports
and visit some games and activities that are on the move. At the end
of the week campers will demonstrate different ways of moving in style. Week Seven: Animal Exploration August 1-5
Discover a world full of all kinds of specimens big and small. Each unit
will transform into their species of choice, make costumes of their favorite
animal, learn how animals survive and where they live, as well as visit
a zoo or even an aquarium. At the end of the week a show about animal
exploration will be performed.
Week Eight: Water Works August 8-12
Everything water is what it's about. Explore water by taking a boat ride,
learning about the underground world of the sea with fun projects for
all the enjoy. At the end of the week camp will wrap-up with an amazing
water show designed the end Strong, Smart, and Bold Girls Summer Camp
with a huge splash.

All camp fees need to be paid in full by
the beginning of camp. Girls Inc. is committed to provide a variety of payment
opetions to our families to help alleviate any finacial burdens. We accept
cash, checks, and credit cards. A current Girls Inc. membership ( $30.00
nonrefundable) will also need to be paid in full at time of registration.
